Ode to July

But wait there’s more…
“Everything that was broken has
forgotten its brokenness. I live
now in a sky-house, through every
window the sun.” - Mary Oliver

July:  Wherein there were gorgeous sunsets, and clouds; Dr. Firebaugh's firefly festival with the cub, his gf, and my friend B.  B's use of the word "glimmer" which I have now adopted; Cinder Panther's one white whisker; Homemade pizza with arugula, goat cheese, caramelized onion, garlic, fig and balsamic drizzle.  Hammock time and perpetual blooming; books and audio books; Finishing my CEs 6 months early; MRI's completed.  Appt at Johns Hopkins with S&S in tow...put them in a taxi to the aquarium whilst I met with neuro.  Scooped them up after appt and back to VA after a rather seamless trip.  More tests in the offing.  In other news, S has a job at a roadside attraction and takes his road test soon.  We took another hike to Stony Man where he found tadpoles at 4K feet.  Hibiscus and bunnies in the garden.  Whilst taking care of a neighbor's yard he found a baby bunny and carried it over to the car for me to see before putting it back...

and these two, conjuring some sort of magic...

*Covid is still ongoing, and Russia is still bombing Ukraine
