It is the part of you that tells you what's right and what's wrong.
Do animals have conscience?
I don't think so but, they have instincts?
What's instinct?
It's the part that helps animals survive...it warns them of danger, tells them to run away, tells them when it is safe, helps them find food, water, shelter.

People have both, Satch, instinct and conscience.

It means to listen to what your conscience is telling you...it will always tell you the right thing to do.
