It's either been too cold or too wet to play outside, so besides baking brownies we had to come up with some other ideas to stave off cabin fever.

I went to a local craft store and bought a simple shadow box, then filled it with natural aquarium gravel for an indoor mini-quarry. The gravel is free of heavy metals and is non-toxic.
