Meanwhile

In the cerulean stillness of night I am roused from slumber...

"Mama Mama... AH TOE PUS!"
"An octopus...where?"
"Hideen"
"It's hiding?"
"Hideen in ah bed"
"It's hiding in our bed?"
"No...no...wan away!"

(then he rolled over and fell right back to sleep)

This is so interesting... the first nightmare that D had and was able to tell us about was about "a big lahbah, goin' up an' down, up an' down"

(That's big lobster, for those of you translating along at home.)

The giant lobster was apparently outside the house and moving up and down in a menacing way. I think D was about two.

interesting...my Camille has woken up and said spider a couple of times and then looks around for it and then calms down and goes back to sleep, perhaps little ones dreams, oh to know what they are.
