Climb Every Sofa
He loves climbing...the sofa, chairs, steps. He loves that, at bedtime, dada lets him turn off the light, then carries him to the window to look at the moon and stars and lights. And recently I began using my book light to make hand shadows on the wall before we go to sleep. I only know a few, but inspired by this, I'm buying this for our bedtime book basket!

Okay, I've got the song "Climb Every Sofa" stuck in my head now... but I need the rest of the lyrics, please!
Belated transition tip: let them carry something. Bring a bathtoy into the bedroom for company while drying and re-dressing. Bring a half-chewed bagel to the car as you're heading off to run errands. Not sure what the "takeaway" could be from the sink, but I'll bet you'll figure it out.
And our snow day chronicle is here.
I believe it goes something like this...
Climb every sofa
Search high and low
Climb every stair-way
Every chair you know
love it!! this is what we call "faith parenting"-that is, let the babes climb, jump, adventure, and otherwise explore without being hovered around. satchel has that specific "look" of a child who knows what his feet and body can do for him! LOVE it! xoxoxo p
