Ode to July

Wherein the pandemic is STILL ongoing with new variants surging
and Russia is still bombing Ukraine. 
We made the most delicious vegetarian Wonton. 
Enjoyed some ridiculous sunsets and sunrises. 
There were covid safe Porch Visits with friends.  
Got my car back with a new engine. 
We got attacked by Japanese beetles and then Spotted Lanternflies;
Read a lot of poetry.
And we adopted a kitten from a county shelter who looks Chaplin,
and she's the best girl in the world.
Lots of testing but closer to an answer to my health mystery.
