Ode to August

Wherein there was dune grass, homemade vegan bacon, made cape gooseberry jam, ate dinner at the lake, a female Hercules beetle, a tornado watch, a broken toe, lots of studying and homework, and a spectacular sunset.   

It's hard to believe that it's been 2 years since Robert died. The day came and went. My son didn't mention so I neither did I. I'm still following his lead.
