The Dream of Tall Ceilings

Rooms with Views

We will forever swoon over this view from the top floor. The skies here are very dramatic and change quickly. The way we situated the house, we get a great cross breeze when we open the windows. The air smells sweet, of clover and something else I can’t quite identify. There was a brown bunny eating the clover at dusk as the fireflies rose from the grasses. It’s is so very quiet at night..and wonderfully dark. The absence of noise and light pollution thrills be to the core. Our son said, “we are so lucky to live here”. We are indeed.

13 Years Later We Have Our Home

We celebrated the end of 13 years of renting with a pizza picnic on the the floor of our very own nest, toast with Elderflower Lemonade, and planting some native flowers of our own.
