life is a verb: Give Away!

"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln

I'm finding it very difficult to write something that describes just how beautiful this book is. I can tell you that I had to put it down several times to let the stories simmer in my soul. I can tell you that I went back to read the entire book a few more times. I can tell you that it made me laugh so loud once (toast rules) that a certain neighbor shot a curious glance at my hammock and of course I had to share the book with her. I can also tell you that I dropped more than a few tears into its folds. Patti has a gift for illuminating the messages woven into ordinary moments. Written as a manual for a full and happy life, from a Mother for her two daughters, Patti unravels the luminous threads that connect us all.

It's Spring...the season symbolic for the renewal of life! If you would like a gentle nudge to live your life with intention and awareness, then grab yourself a copy of this book...grab a copy for someone you love.

The generous folks at Globe Pequot Press is allowing me to give away a copy of this beautiful book to one lucky reader. Kindly leave a comment at the end of this post by midnight on Monday, April 5th and the winner will be picked by random generator on Wednesday, April 7th!

Patti's new book will be in stores this Fall. I can hardly wait!

*Please provide a means to contact you. If you comment anonymously, I will be unable to notify you if you win...you will need to check back for winner information.

...it's the life in the years...

My Papal died yesterday. He wasn't ill or truly old. I've been feeling so sad that he died alone & young. But this quote was exactly what I needed. Thank you, Honey

I used to regularly read her blog, and you're the second place I've seen a link to her. Maybe it's time to start reading her again. :)

I'd love a copy of her book!
