Unbuttoned Giveaway

The generous folks at Harvard Common Press sent me a copy of the new book, "Unbuttoned: Women Open Up About the Pleasures, Pains and Politics of Breastfeeding", a collection of thought provoking and heartfelt essays written by breastfeeding mothers (including the Dalai Mama, Catherine Newman) edited by Dana Sullivan and Maureen Connolly.

Unbuttoned is a wonderful read on a subject that is near and dear to our hearts. Breastfeeding is natural, and yet such a highly charged subject, so filled with emotion.

If you would like a chance to win a copy of this amazing book, simply leave a comment (with a way to contact you) by midnight May 17th. The winner will be picked via random generator and will be announced on Tuesday May 19th.

Have a good weekend. See you Monday.

I had a baby 2 months ago and was unable to breastfeed due to low milk supply. Read up a lot in trying to fix the problems, and WOW is this a complicated area full of strong feelings!!! I came across mention of this book in my readings and thought it sounded interesting. Fingers crossed!

I would love to read this book. I have breastfed all of my 4 children and will be breastfeeding my baby when born. I am newly expecting. I have encountered so many things I didn't expect or deserve when feeding my babies in public places. Even places like church and visiting family. Blessings, Stefanie Hartman fhartman@frontiernet.net
