Happy Birthday!!
Oh Wendy, how I wish we lived in the same neighbourhood, I am sure Satch and Sav would have so much fun together. What an extensive list of activities and such a diverse range of things to do. I love it, the fact that the local community provides so many wonderful opportunities for families.
What a treat to see the clips from the performances. The dance, the costumes, the movement, the lighting, the shadows, the music, all so captivating and magical.
The idea of a house concert for a party really appeals to me. What a way to have all of your guests involved and kicking up their heels.
Satch's music classes look like so much fun. I love that he is exposed to larger instruments like the piano and guitar. To have a play on the piano with all of his fellow classmates is such a valuable learning experience. Oh what fun.
Sounds like you have an extra sepcial week coming up. I had marked in my diary that it is your birthday on October 16. Sending you much love for that day and hope that you have a "beauty full" day filled with laughter and special times. May this birthday be one where memories to last a lifetime are made and treasured.
I am looking forward to hearing about your Halloween festivities and seeing Satch's costume.
I sure am going to miss you over the next week, but I will "see" you again on the 20th my friend.
Lots of love
Elise
Thank you for putting so much time into this post! I am definitely going to bookmark it.
Also, have a wonderful visit with your inlaws. I'm also happy to hear that you're loving the D.C. area. It seems like we discover new things to do all the time.
What an outstanding and generous collection of resources... yay to you and the folks who can join you at some of these cool spots.
I just now wandered by to see where you are. Happy birthday baby! (I knew I liked the Libra looks of you.)
We have to meet up soon!!
