Namaste
We took Satch to the local zoo yesterday and had a wonderful encounter with some penguins, an elephant (named Siri) and an adorable little girl. I have mixed feelings about zoos so I greeted my fellow creatures with a silent, "Namaste".
even your fingers have soul, woman! these photos are really amazing. satchel's days of looking like a baby are behind him-this being is a BOY! you must be so proud.
and what's truly amazing, Pixie, is that the little girl just walked right up to Satch and they both bowed their heads toward each other 'til they touched. the first thought that entered my mind was, "namaste"....
indeed, i'm proud of my little boy. it's bitter sweet this growing up. on the one hand i'm proud of his development on the other hand i'm sad at how quickly it happens.
Sure, Margaret. I left the entire script for the banner switcheroo in the comment section of "A New Look". Here's the link- http://motherrising.blogspot.com/2006/08/new-look_12.html#links

") discovery is amazing.... I spoil myself today peeking in on you and Satch, Pixieloo and MLC.... ah, the leaps and bounds are indeed bittersweet.
wonderful photo. I agree about the mixed feelings about zoo but seeing my girls enjoying the zoo always sways me the other way.
Wendy,
I like your banner. Would you be able to tell me how you did it?
Thanks,
Margaret

I love that last photo--it's so detailed & the contrast of hand & elephant is wonderful.
Thanks, Wendy!
I don't have the energy to try it now. But when I do, I will let you know if I have troubles. I really appreciate it.
