Satchel has figured out how to make his bouncy seat bounce by flexing his back and is quite pleased with himself! Despite his cheerful disposition, he's cutting his first tooth. I'm amazed by how sharp it is.

Satchel will be 6 months old tomorrow!

I decided to prune the bookcase once again and sell some of the parenting books that I've read on ebay.

Thanksgiving!

First Snow

Satchel immediately noticed that something was different. He was initially startled by the blanketing of white we received over night. He watched some early morning flurries with Elvis (our cat) before taking
a nap.

Window Gazing

Satchel likes leaning on the back cushion of the sofa and watching the morning's activity outside the living room window. He gets a kick out of seeing the kids walk to school and his daddy leave for work.

We have scored some really great deals on winter gear for Satch at ebay. One of my favorite finds is this faux shearling liner for his stroller.

Day Trip

We took a day trip to Ithaca, drove over a beautiful gorge and had lunch at Moosewood. I have always wanted to eat there. I have several of the cookbooks. It was even more special that we went as a family.

Incognito: The Weatherization of Satch

Satchel and I took a walk to the tailor to get my winter coat fixed. By the time I bundled him up, he was barely recognizable.
